The thing is, at first I thought for sure this was a satire of Harry Potter and his Fundamentalist critics. Then I realized it was sincere...

I love the leaps in logic - the Fallacy of Origin, for example, similiar to the idea of marijuana as a "gateway drug." The thing is, I could understand where the fundies were coming from if Harry Potter fans were suddenly getting into witchcraft, much less Satanism. But nothing of what fundies worry about related to these books has happened. This makes me think they must be reading different books, mistaking them for Harry Potter - or maybe getting their hands on darker versions. So I wonder, where are these darker versions of Harry Potter that they're reading? Where can I get a copy?

Fan-fic? Eh but then they'd be more up in arms about all the Lupin/Sirius fucking...
